Agreement
By creating an account or using Roanja City (“the game”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Use and to follow our rules and any instructions we publish in-game or on this site. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

Who may play
You must meet any minimum age we state in-game or at signup (and in any case be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live). You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.

The service
Roanja City is an online browser-based multiplayer game operated from the United Kingdom. We may add, change, or remove features, balance, items, events, or content at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access; maintenance, faults, or third-party services may affect availability.

Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity on your account. Do not share your account or use another person’s account. We may take action (including suspension or closure) if we reasonably believe an account has been misused or compromised.

Rules of conduct
You agree not to:
• harass, threaten, or abuse other players, or encourage self-harm or violence;
• use slurs, hate speech, or sexual content involving minors;
• cheat, exploit bugs for unfair gain, automate play in breach of our rules, or interfere with the game or other players’ experience;
• impersonate staff or other players, or mislead others about your identity;
• upload malware, scrape or overload our systems without permission, or attempt unauthorised access;
• use the game for fraud, money laundering, or any illegal purpose.

We enforce rules through warnings, mutes, suspensions, bans, removal of content, and account closure where appropriate. Reports and moderation decisions are handled under our processes; serious or repeated breaches may result in a permanent ban.

User content
Content you submit (for example chat, avatars, faction imagery, or contact messages) must comply with these terms and our rules. You grant us a licence to host, display, and moderate that content as needed to run the game. We may remove content that breaks the rules or that we are required to remove.

Player versus player and factions
The game includes competitive features (for example attacks, wars, and reputation). In-game conflict is part of the design and is not an excuse for real-world harassment or conduct banned above. Faction leadership roles and in-game permissions are subject to our mechanics and may change.

Virtual currency, items, and optional purchases
In-game cash, items, stats, and progression are virtual and have no real-world monetary value except where we expressly sell optional digital goods. They are licensed for use in the game only; they are not transferable outside the service except as we allow in-game. Optional purchases (where offered) are processed by our payment provider; their terms and your card issuer’s terms also apply. We do not offer refunds except where required by law or stated at purchase.

Intellectual property
The game, its name, artwork, text, and software are protected by intellectual property rights. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy on this site.

Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if we must comply with law, or if we stop operating the service (or part of it). You may stop using the game at any time. Provisions that should survive (for example limitations and governing law) continue where applicable.

Disclaimers
The game is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the game will be error-free or free of harmful components. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from your use of the game. Our total liability for any claim relating to the game is limited to the greater of £100 or the amount you paid us for optional digital goods in the 12 months before the claim (if any).

Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will indicate the update on this page (for example via the “last updated” note). Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms where we are allowed to do so by law.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory protections that apply to you as a consumer where you live.
